did anyone watch the telly last night? hammond recreated the Guy Fawkes plot. He constructed a replica parliament, make up a TON of gunpowder..............then blew it up

I hope it will be screened again. worth looking out for

keep an eye out on BBC3. I missed it as well..
evidently it was good.

Does the fact that Hammond was on ITV mean that he and Clarkson have got themselves a divorce?

Doubtful...he's been doing stuff on other channels for ages (e.g. Brainiac on SkyOne)

It was quite a big bang.

Put it this way, the walls for the undercroft were poured in one go with wet concrete - all 650 tonnes of it. About 7 foot thick and 10 - 12 foot tall. One end (near the bang) disappeared, and the sides moved out.

What was very interesting was the high speed camera pics.
