Large Parcel Delivery?

Am after sending someone an exhaust which measures about 1.8meters long (don't fancy shortening it with a hack saw or angle ginder!) and was wondering if anyone can advise me on a company who might deliver it for me.

I have had a look at Parcels2go, parcelvan and couple of others and they have size limits which rule them out. Parcel Force and UPS do not appear to mention size limits does any one know/have experiance of sending parcels of this size with any of these companies or have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I'm told that Business Post will take exhausts providing they are well taped together and the sharp edges are covered.
Just ask for Matt at the Northampton branch, just around the corner from Cosworths.

I've sent a pair of skis parcel force so I don't think length is an issue!! (unless it's a female driver of course)

It took parcelvan 10 days just to pick up a parcel let alone deliver it recently, they even stopped answering my calls until I did number suppression. What a bunch of tossers, wouldnt trust them to deliver newspapers.
Cheers,
Bob

I sent a sierra front bumper with parcelvan and although outside their normal size they were able to do it following a phone call.
