Best place to buy Laptop?

After a Laptop for home use, ideally with DVD RW, 60gb, Wifi etc. Looked at the usual high street guys but wondered if any of you chaps may know of better deals out there?

Thanks,
Steve

For the highstreet:

IBM Thinkpad R50e
1.4 Celeron /256mb/15"TFT/DVD-RAM-RW/40GB/Built in Wireless/XP etc etc

£399 From Staples.

Online: Good spec refurbs at www.medionshop.co.uk

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

I tried the Staples bit when I was looking for my laptop, went to 3 branches, had the same reply, " Sorry, we have just sold out, not expecting any more stock in the forseeable future", and this was on the first day of the promotion. I think each store had one laptop and a sign saying 'while stocks last'

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
