Optical link from PC to Amp..

Evening all.

Does anyone know anywhere that sells long versions of the optical leads that I can use to connect my PC to my surround sound amplifier/dvd player? The sockets on the back of my PC are call SPDIF (i think) and the dvd player has an optical input (called video2, and it lookes like a squareish hole with a couple of corners cut off).

The dvd player/amp is a Sony DAV-SC5 if that helps, and the manual only refers to the optical input as the optical digital in jack.

Anyway, as the PC is on the other side of the room the to amplifier, I need a cable that is around 5metres long (maybe a bit more), so if anyone knows of a supplier that can decode my garbled descriptions of the sockets I want to connect together, I would be grateful!

Cheers
Andy

Brilliant, thanks for that...

I'll have a scour round Ebay and see what I can find.

Thanks.
