Scottish pronunciation test

Now that Menzies Campbell is in the news, you might try to understand this limerick...

A lively young damsel named Menzies
Inquired: "Do you know what this thenzies?"
Her aunt, with a gasp,
Replied: "It's a wasp,
And you're holding the end where the stenzies."

Click here to hear it spoken...

Now you know!

David
(rhyme and audio courtesy of the John Menzies website)

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

On a similar note - If Mr Campbell gets the the Prime Ministers job that would make him almost Emporer like.

When Mr Blair retires, should Mr Brown take over that would make

Emporer Ming against Flash Gordon!!!
