Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Just planning ahead really. Have been going for the last three years and we love it. Should be a few of us going this year, and the plan is to sit in
a grandstand on the Saturday and watch the action having a few drinks, camp overnight, then have a wonder around on the Sunday to see all of the
stands and mini events etc. The problem is that the nearest camping is four miles away. This will prove troublesome if it's 1) dark and 2)
we're hammered. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to camp a stones throw away from the grounds? We are probably only talking a couple of
tents and two cars maximum? Has anyone on here camped at Goodwood? Cheers fellas.

You can camp at goodwood house at the top of the molecomb car park, the only problem i have encountered with this in the past is you have to book a
weekend pass (fri/sun) and the charge for camping was £10 per tent and £10 per person per night.
I've camped there a couple of times and you get a good crowd, but the last time i camped was 3 years ago and i went to a site at pagham
(southern leasure) as you say a few miles away but i enjoyed it as htere is a bar the only problem is geting up at 6am to avoid the traffic
Info on the camping at goodwood on the usual ticket line.
