Damn.. just bought a roller door.
They should fetch good money.
You can put a motor inside the roller / pipe which is how mine works.
I would have put a reserve of £100 on that. A roller door of industrial grade is nearly £1k new.
Are they 3" Galv laths with little plastic bits rivetted on the end?. If it is then you can extend the height by adding more Laths.
Laths come in 6 metre lengths so 1 bit will do two when you cut it in half.
6 x 6m lengths and a load of plastic ends cost me about £40.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards

Make sure you bolt the roller shutter at floor level when it's shut. A friend was broken into by levering the bottom up and then putting a jack
under and jacking it up, it cost him £200 to get the door and runners fixed as well.
Is she selling the house a bit at a time Jon?

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
