don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

He was sacked when he told everyone who he was!

Aparantly, there are a few stigs - Ben being one of them.

Perry Mcarthy was the black stig. White stig, after the aircraftcarrier stunt, has been a few people.

The mystery seed of who the Stig really is has germinated, flourished and captured everyones imagination. I mean even if Jeremy Clarkson himself come out and said it is such and such,I will still have doubts in my mind and i won't be alone!

The weather conditions probably make more difference in the times to be honest (semi admitted via the 'wet lap = 4secs' thing). I expect most pro drivers would be very close in times set in any car over a circuit they've been driving a lot.

Page 6 - part 36 / 37 mentions Ben Collins - the second worst kept secret in Top Gear history!! I thought it was common knowledge he was the "primary" white stig!!!

Something interesting which may have had some bearing on the Ascari drive:

Ben is currently racing one of three Ascari KZ1R Supercars in the new FIA GT3 European Championship with Team Damax.
