Who else needs a life

Wife and I are planning a race - to see whose transition lenses darken the fastest in the sun.

Anyone know of a better form of racing?

When i bought the kit to build my VortX, SWMBO bought a kit to build a fuel powered RC Aeroplane. We had a bet on who would be first to pilot their build....

I got my Engine started first, and still need a few more bits to finish, but unfortunately she has just finished, and she is ready to take it on its first test flight

well being a r/c plane flyer for over oh 25 years or so I'd suggest you join a club and get some dual control training, unless that is it's a race to see who smashes their plane into the ground first competition. Not being sarcastic but it's far harder than it looks.

I’m presuming off course you’ve never flown one before which might not the case.

Thats what she is doing.... she has got to know the people at the local model shop quite well. She is taking the plane to them to perform the final tweaks, and then they are going to teach her how to fly it at the local place they all fly :-) The Futaba 6EX that i got her has the Teacher/Pupil function when you connect it to another controller

She won the going darker and I won the getting lighter so I guess you could say it's a tie and marital harmony prevails
