anyone know where I can get some generic brake pistons?

took pistons out the back caliper and I guess ideally they should be replaced but they are usable.

... so am I looking at an arm and a leg price :shock: or does someone sell generic pistons; obviously they need to be same size;

mesured:
42.8 mm diameter
overall depth 21.7 mm
seal depth: 17.2 mm (this is the bit beyond the step that runs against the seal).

?

(found kitek who do custom stainless pistons, bet they're not gonna be cheap )

They also have a website
http://www.biggred.co.uk/ though pistons aren't on their online shop yet.
