Is this tyre ok?

Some of you may remember a couple of weeks ago i was crashed into. The front left wheel was dented enough to let the tyre down. The tyre was brand new. the repair place has fitted a new wheel and tyre but I still have the old. Is it likely to be OK?

I would not risk it if the impact was hard enough to let the tyre down you could inspect it for damage but it may be damaged on the cords internally which you will not know about

I agree with DRC INDY 7, why muck about with your life for the sake of a few quid?

Here's a pic. Given that the impact was side to side, I doubt there was much force on the tyre but who can say.
