Wooden shed/garage flooring
I'm going to build myself a nice new big shed (16'x10' to keep my toys in. Something similar to what zilspeed has built here:
zilspeed's shed
I dont have the luxery of a concrete base as mine will be sat on 50mm thick paving slabs. I'm pretty sorted with all the timber etc but one
thing i'm not sure of is the flooring. My current shed has a 3"x2" timber grid floor covered with 18mm osb board.
The OSB board isnt great and was thinking about using floorboards or exterior ply (expensive).
Anyone got any other ideas?

Floorboards aren't a bad idea (nice T+G so no breezy chills) but they won't be very water resistant unless you treat them which would be a
pita (as would laying them). You could just use some thick old decking as that's pre-treated, you'ld just have to treat the ends.
Some WBP ply is a nice easy option. Just chop it to size and bang it down on the the supporting beams.
If you're going to have to get it all delivered I'd go WBP, if you have a big old estate car and can get f/boards then maybe. but
it'll take longer with floorboards...

Have a big trailer so no issues with collections etc, but just doing a bit more looking round and floorboards are mega bucks!.
My missus works at b and q so do get a bit of discount but still very expensive. Looking to build in the 'locost' manner.

Big sheet off damp proof membrane then foam/foil board in-between joists, cover with tounge and groove or marine ply.
Dry and warm

Not keen on chipboard, bit along the lines of the osb.
Think its down to plywood, t and g or possibly scaffolding planks?

You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.
