ot; dropbox part 2!
following on from my dropbox thread i am still having trouble sending the s2000 service manual (1087 pages)
my cousin has kindly agreed to print this for me as i have no printer but he is not receiving the file. i uploaded the file to my dropbox and sent it
to him and one of my mates (just to see if it worked) and my mate recieved it but cousin never? he requested the url but as far as i can tell there is
no url as they are in an online storage place! any ideas?

I'm on my phone at the moment, but from memory place the file in your public folder, then right click on the file and there should be an option
of finding a public url.
If this doesn't help our turns out to be wrong, I'll check back when the kids go to bed

I use the dropbox program installed on my pc, not the website.
If you stick the file in the "public" folder, then right-click it you'll get a drop down menu, choose "dropbox" then
"copy public link". Paste this into an email or whatever, your cousin should be able to click the link and download the file.
If you use the website, you just need to hover the cursor over the file and click the arrow, from there click "copy public link".
