Thieving toerags

Came home this afternoon to find my pile of scrap (two engines, exhausts and several discs) has been
stolen. Wasn't even on show, down the side of the garage with a customers car blocking the view

Only consolation is they didn't drop the car on some blocks from my firewood store and steal the trolley jack.

time to up security the shits will be back now they have cased the joint. when i was building my car a few years ago i had my engine box and diff under a tarp on the drive out of view. one day i come home and the diff was gone and the engine and box half way up the drive. luckily my neighbour chased them off so they didnt get the whole lot but even still we caught them floating about a week later seeing if the engine was still there. by then it was moved round the back and i had cameras up got their numberplate second time round which was passed onto the police.

I had the same earlier in the year. A pile of scrap to be weighed in (copper pipe, lead, steel and cast iron) and junk for the tip piled up out of view of the road without venturing 10m up my driveway. The little barstewards sorted through what they wanted and what they didn't, and even went to the trouble of emptying an old fibreglass of junk, to see if there were other bits of scrap in there... The silver lining for me, was the cast iron was a very heavy stinking old soil pipe, that I was dreading getting rid of and they took that away - so overall, I was not too sad with the outcome!

Oops, seem to be going on every where, my neighbour garage is currently under attack. I don't know what he has in there. He said just tools. But the have been back trying to get in every other weekend now for the last 5 weeks. They even cut the roof to try and get in cause security lights were coming on when they go through garden. I always have to wake up and chase them off. I just jump at any sound now. Absolutely annoying.

He works away so he is never here
