I've Started!!!
Well, just went and looked at a car today, gonna pick it up tommorow after work.
Its a 1986 RX7 that i'm gonna use everything but the engine (has a blown apex seal). ITs great for what I want. IRS, 4 wheel disc's, the
seats are narrow, everything is light. Its pretty much a complete car, all for $300 (about 80 pounds).
I'm so excited I just had to share.
This weekend will be the tear down and might start to build that chassis next week.
Hopfully I will take a ton of pics!
Best thing to do for a build....
Ditch the wife!

Congratulations! Great choice!
If you put in new seals, the motor should be pretty much as new. I found this page to be inspirational for a DIY rebuild:
http://rx7.freeservers.com/rebuild.html
I would put off any engine work until the very end, as the seals get damaged from sitting for an extended length of time.
There were a couple of very good posts on Locost NA about RX-7 engine mods, that I have bookmarked on another computer. I'll send you the links
when I can get at them.
