alternative to tom tom?
Hi all,
i've just bought a bluetooth GPS to go with my nokia phone, but tomtom doesn;t wrk properly with it(apparently tomtom only works correctly with
tomtom gps units) anybody know of an alternative to the tomtom software??>

i have a dell p.d.a.
with a rikaline wired gps
it works fine with tom tom software
when you start this journey
you think it will be done in " no " time but then " no " turns into a " bloody " long time

Theres lots of maps. Mine has got Desinator ND on it. which isnt bad.
Tom tom should work ok with most things. You can get kits to run on pda's etc..

If Tom Tom doesnt work for you Try a pair of Bongo's.
You do have the right version of TT for your phone dont you?. Bluetooth GPS should work with it.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Which nokia do you have? I have a brand new boxed "Route 66" lying around that was bought in error, would let it go for less than i
paid.

I use Navman and TomTom 3 - both work fine with my PDA.
