It is actually illegal to do that IIRC. I got soaked a few times by inconsiderate b@stards when I was on my way to work in the summer on my bike. A
lot of the time you see them coming, and see that they do it on purpose.
You can report people who do it if you get their plate. However not sure what the fines are etc.
Chavs deserve a soaking, but it doenst make it any less annoying when it happens to you.

if it was accidental, then thats harsh. If he did it on purpose, he deserved the 3 points. What a git.

this ties nicely up with the other thread - if you drove in the gutter to splash someone, but ran over some debris, blew out a tyre and ended up
squishing rather than splashing them, would it be manslaughter or causing death by dangerous driving?

and i suppose everyone on here never goes a mile over the speed limit, you could get a blow out lose control and run in the back of me driving with
care so that i dont miss the cavs at the bus stop swerve around me losing the back end of your tin top and runing a whole bus shelter of them over,
where as i was just splashing them with water you on the other hand was driving to fast.

indeed. But there is personal gain in speeding, ie you get where you are going fast. Splashing people on purpose has no personal gain involved, except
the obvious glee involved in soaking those unfortunate souls who left the car at home

my point chavs. . . they dont get cars on the doll so they have to nick them or take the bus. . . i say we all speed and splash

why should anyone thats not got the money to have a car and be waiting for a bus be a chav?
So, as you drive down the road you can make an instant judgement as to wether the person you are about to cover in muddy water on a cold wet day
deserves it.
you know if they work. you know if they are on the dole. You know if they work in a charity shop, or if they are a mugger.
amazing insight

How dumb do you have to be to lurk by a puddle when there's eejits in every other car??
They were clearly asking to be soaked....

I agree sue the council, they take all the money they can off you so you have a right to get some back when something unfortunate( ) happens.
You would think they would fix the pudles near the bus stop, what kind of council do you people have?
As for the work men getting soaked, mabey they shouldn'd be stood at the side of the road when it's soaking wet Or if they have to do
emergency repairs , close the road on safety grounds

What's wrong with you people?
Do you think it's funny when you have to work outside all day and some lunatic soaks your clothes in which you have to work for the rest of the
day?
I've worked most of my live outside and I can assure you that there's nothing funny
about working in wet soacked cloths.
Perhaps you should try it for a while and see if you could take the insults throwing at you every day from passing drivers!
I would have given that idiot a nice Locost and let him drove around in wet clothes for a couple of hours on a cold wintersday!!!
That would change his idea about wet clothes being funny!!
Cheers Cita
