Samsung D500/D600

I've dropped it, trod on it, thrown it down stairs - I just simply can't break it and it never goes wrong.

I can't praise them enough ;-)

old is undoubtedly better if you want tough. New ones are usually too fragile. I remember a nokia that had rubber bits built in, 5 series i think.

don't get a v3 !
just sat on my back axle (with phone in pocket and crack went the screen)
phoned up orange ( as i pay for insurance)
they said i didn't look after it properly
so i can run and jump !

so i then said go fcuk yourself and place the contract where the sun don't shine !

and cancelled my contract and my wife's
they then replied so why will she be leaving ? (stupid tart)
been a customer for 8 years first phone i have tried to claim on and always had insurance ( so why do we pay for it !)
so now im £100 worse off and no mobile !

Bit of a stupid question, but how tough?

Is there any reason it has to be unbustably tough? like your a builder or work up ladders alot etc?

I'm a heating engineer and have dropped me 6230 loads onto concrete floors etc, and its absoultely fine.

Biggest damage has been a cracked case where the screen is where I caught it merily swinging a big Bahco spanner, don't ask!

Chilli - I had mine nicked from my gym bag - when I took it out of the locker and went for a P*ss.

They said it was neglect - I said - ok - I'd like to speak to cancellations - they put me through - I explained the situation and they said - look - we'll send you a new phone out, but keep quiet about it... oops

So might be worth ringing back and trying? This happened about 2 months ago to me!
