Biker Build Off - much better, even though they're repeats.
Tough day today

It was also shown last night. I had to laugh when they knocked the chassis of the axle stands. Just how much of the build do you reckon they
actually did? It took Mark Evens eleven days to build a Westfield and he didn't hang about.

Caterham fully built the car and then took some bits off for them to put back on.
Have another look at the Mark Evans build and when they have one of the 'out takes' you can see the factory engineer in the background !

It took mark evans 7 days to build his car so theres no way the tg boys did it in 8 hours without help
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I bet the prog was just as annoying the second time around. Im a TG fan but hated that episode. Made our beloved passion look crap imho. Quite a
mockery. Im surprised Caterham didnt try and sue them.

Mark Evans does some of the more interesting bits to camera. Then a team of builders moves in overnight to do the rest. He said so in one episode - he
did the right hand suspension and somebody else did the left hand after.
He's not cheating, that's just how television's done.
He rather gives the game away in the first episode of each series where he asks people who have done it before how long it would take the home builder
to do the job --- Helicopter, 5 years, Small Plane - five years etc.
He manages it in 7 30-minute episodes

Mark Evans is great. He doesnt pretend to do the whole car and has a laugh as well. Thats what being a petrol head is all about. In the end there is
always a great vehicle and a good series to watch.
Top gear is usually like that but the Caterham episode is pure poo. To me building a car is a real achievement and something not many people can say
they have done. Doesnt matter how comprehensive the kit or how much cash you have, its still a car. However i reckon all they have done is took the
wee a bit too much that time.
