"

when i was watching the news it was saying atleat 90 serious injuried at aldgate and the people coming out from the exploded trains were saying in the carriages that they assume the bomb as in the floor was littered with bodies

i hope not too many people have died and im glad to hear that a fair few of you are alright ... ive never been more glad that my mum is on holiday as one of the trins that was bombed is a train she would normally be on .

Still waiting to hear back from her as 18 of her colleagues did not turn up for work and they all come in from that direction i hope they are alright ..

somehow i doubt it was anything to do with the olympic bid as it seems to organised to have been thought up overnight and its not as obviously linked with 9/11 as the madrid bombings were because they were 911 days after 9/11 and there are no such blindingly obvious links ...

i hope they catch whoever is responsible

Given the al Qaeda website announcement

Since we can prosecute kids for downloading music from the web without paying, how can we not find out exactly where the computer was that this announcement was set up from and take appropriate action

Not a fun day today...

I'm contracted to work with the London Underground at one of their train depots in Golders Green.
Underground station and bus terminus right next to where I work !
Then right in the middle of the action, they discover a suspect package at the entrance gates and tell us we are all stuck in until it is cleared

As soon as I could, I jumped in the car and hot-tailed it home early !

Just heard, 33 confirmed dead now

It was more than likely sent from an internet cafe or the like, which wouldn't be traceable to a person even if it was in the UK. Tracing this sort of thing also requires authority over or cooperation from the website as well as the ISP that the person connected through, which we probably dont have in this case.

Thats how I understand it anyway,

Nick

Just got home on the first train out of Liverpool Street - quite amazed at the behaviour of the people waiting. No-one complaining, doing what they're asked by the police & security guards, just waiting patiently. The authorities did very well, all things considered.

Glad to be home, though. 85 miles is a long way to walk!

To all involved...

I would like to offer my sincerest sympathy and prayers for both the victims and those who love them.

This was not an attack against Britain, and 9/11 was not an attack against America. This was an attack against the western world and our way of life.

These cowardly deeds will not cease until the world joins together, as one, to put a stop to it.
