FS: x-flow package, wheels, clocks etc *Pics added*

Reposted as I clicked delete by accident!

Photos to follow but available from my Striker:

  • 711 Block with home-ported-and-polished (leaded) head
  • Twin 40 Dellorto Carbs with very nice twin-cable throttle mechanism
  • Weber manifold and ITG filters
  • Shortened Sump
  • Raw manifold and stainless silencer (costing £335 + VAT)
  • 91bhp on Mech Repairs (Cheltenham) rollers
  • Type E Gearbox
  • Prop 'thrown in'
  • All Ancillaries
  • Good Battery
£450 ovno

Also to be added once I've checked specs and taken pics:

  • Complete Set of ETB Dials
  • 100+ Monza Wheels and Yoko A539s
  • Raw Bench seat(s)

I will do a bumper deal if someone wants the x-flow package and one of these other items.

Get your build off to a flying start!

Can be heard/seen/driven if you are quick.

Cheers

I know the manifold and exhaust is part of the engine package, but if you do want to split it I'd be very interested. Also interested in the ETB gauges and seat.

Personaly I think it's a superb price for what is a complete package, you can barely get a pair of new DCOE's for that. A year ago I would have snapped your hand off, but I've sourced a good 1.6 xflow, DCOEs, and box etc. for my Striker.

I suspect the problem is that most people are either using the donor engine (Pinto/CVH) or going for something more modern like a Zetec or fitting a bike engine, meaning the trusty old Crossflow tends to be overlooked.

I guess you probably don't want the hassle, but you will get quite a bit more if you split it up; check the price that matched pairs of DCOE's are fetching on eBay for starters! Also there is someone in the wanted section that was after a Type E box.

Hi,

I would be interested in the carbs if you wanted to split the engine package?
