What is eating Bernie E ? Tyranny . Hitler, Sadam, Max & Mrs T
Looks like Bernie is even biger trouble than Max (is this possible ?)
Quote Bernie on Hitler "I suppose, but apart from the fact that Hitler got taken away and persuaded to do things that I have no idea whether he
wanted to do or not, he was in the way that he could command a lot of people, able to get things done.
“In the end he got lost, so he wasn’t a very good dictator because either he had all these things and knew what was going on and insisted, or he just
went along with it . . . so either way he wasn’t a dictator.” He also rounded on democracy, claiming that “it hasn’t done a lot of good for many
countries — including this one [Britain]”.
"Instead, Mr Ecclestone endorsed the concept of a government based on tyranny.
“Politicians are too worried about elections,” "
He went on to say he "I like “strong leaders”, such as Margaret Thatcher, Mr Ecclestone suggested that Max Mosley, his close friend, the
president of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), would make a good Prime Minister. "

erm... i don't think he's saying anything wrong there really. i'm not exactly a fan of hitler, but he's right in what
he's saying.
hitler had questionable motives to put it lightly lol, but i can't disagree with what bernie's saying... he's just expressing
opionion.
i for the record, don't think max would be a good prime minister. nor do i think hitler was, too young to know about thatcher (she doesn't
seem to be as infamous as hitler)
if he'd said hitler was inspiration, that would be very wrong.

WTF is Ernie on about?
"got taken away and persuaded to do things that I have no idea whether he wanted to do or not"
You don't have to persuade someone to do something they want to do!! He clearly hasn't got a scooby do about the subject. Next he'll
be saying that AH didn't know about the death camps....
Democracy fails when the elected government fails to represent the people- they commonly do but there's a chance of success. Dictators generally
do what suits them and therefore rarely represent the people from the very beginning!
Anyway, if Bernie likes tyranical dictatorships so much he should support this nannying police state that we appear to live in. Don't see much
democracy in action when our government goes to war without a vote, changes prime minister without a vote and introduces major legal and political
changes without giving the people who are going to live under them a chance to have their say.... Anyone think that we'd be worse off if we had
more opportunity to change the way this country is run???
