O/T VW transporter T4 engine
Mate of mine has just bought
this and he has just asked me which other VW's use the same diesel engine?
It's described as an ABL engine code.
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Mark

Also does this share the same gearbox as other Vw models or is it unique to the T4?
Cheers

I have just looked on autodata and the transporter is the only VW coming up with the ABL engine code from 1997.

That's the 2.5L 5 cylinder engine, the ABL is the 1.9L 4 pot.
