Ferrari Drive
Well I was at Rockingham this morning drivng a Ferrari 360 around that I got as a present last year. I have to say that I had my doubts about how fun
it would be and had heard about how they limit your speed and revs but it was fantastic! There was a briefing beforehand on the track and braking
points etc. then off to the car. The person in the car with me was a race driver and was pushing me on, telling me to thrash it and physically turning
my head to remind me to do it. I was doing 100+ out of corners and had the back end twitching around which was concerning at first but helped with
confidence that it wasn't letting go. As it was we overtook an Audi R8 and Porsche 911 GT3 twice and a few other Ferrari's that were in
the way and we were having that much of a good time between us that I got an extra lap more in than everyone else.
A couple of things that it's made me realise though. Like the Clarkson/Bugatti thing. I'll never have the pleasure of owning one which is
a pi55er and the other is although the car is awesome, I now realise that the kind of speed that I'm craving for isn't going to be found
in a car and more likely a bike!
Fantastic though, I'd recommend it to anyone. I came back and tried to jump into the Locost to compare but it's decidd to empty its water
onto the floor!

It wet itself, thinking that it had a lot of expectations to fulfill!
I went to rockingham, and chose the mini cooper S, in which i overtook the ferraris, lamborghini's and other minis.
It was good, but didnt really learn anything other than that i should have pushed it harder after paying the £25 insurance damage waiver!
A good day though, and an excellent facility.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

I did the Lotus elise and the 911 Turbo and it was great, only got passed by the instructor giving a demo run in a open 2 seater race car
got out the turbo and the instructor thanked me for the thrash we had had .
Turbo 4 wheel drive and great power but the elise was so light and nimble, but really lacked the power.
great fun aint it
