Ive used normal brake or carb cleaner in the past to good effect.

I have used clean petrol in the past.... and fine emmary cloth if you must...

All depends what you mean by 'cleaning'. We always used to decoke stuff with oven cleaner, but you can't leave it on for too long, or it eats the ally
