don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

// 1/4 mile stuff

quartermile = Math.pow((iWeight/(iHp*.854)), (1/3))*5.825;
quartermile = Math.round(quartermile*10)/10;
document.form1.et.value= quartermile;

//0-60 stuff

zeroToSixty = Math.pow(iWeight / iHp * .875, .75);
zeroToSixty = Math.round(zeroToSixty*10)/10;
document.form1.sixty.value = zeroToSixty;

Looks a rather simplistic calc to me

From http://www.letstorquebhp.com/explained.asp

quote:

Formulas do not take into consideration other factors that could also affect real life figures, e.g. torque, gear ratios, aerodynamics, air density, temperature etc

So they aren't missing out anything important then.
