ot cbr600 rr7?

anyone know anything about thr 600cc fireblade rr7?
the reason i ask is that there is a guy who is possibly interested in my mnr but has a 2007 blade he wants to part ex.
my first question is how much are they worth? its fully serviced and low miles.good condition with a few extras.
my second is how easy are they to sell as i am not a bike rider

They're supposed to be very good, and the CBR600 has always been a popular bike.

What I ould say is that, like a car, it'll need a test ride before you commit to any deal and if you're not a rider you'll either need someone you trust to test it and give you their verdict or tell the guy to come back when he's sold his bike.

Personlly, I'd take it as part ex with some cash and go get a bike license...

The cbr600 isn't a 'fireblade'.

It'd be good as a first bike, low torque so easy to manage on the road. Go for it.

A 600 cc modern sports bike is very rapid, I wouldn't jump on one as a new rider personally.

They are excellent bikes.

I suggst you look at eBay to see what other bikes have sold at, but be realistic and don't get fobbed off that it is worth more than you have found. Remember it's getting into winter so sports bikes are worth less at this time.

Check it's not nicked or written off.

If you are thinking of keeping it remember to factor in insurance which fr a new rder will be a lot, leathers a good lid, boots and gloves on top of the cat of passing your bike test.

Personally I'd take the px if it's rich enough, keep the bike till spring and then flog it as it will be worth more, and I wouldn't risk crashing my nvestment in the ice by rding over winter.

If it's the RR model, it's probably not such an ideal first bike, being a lot more focused than the standard model.

they only made the rr in that year I think. They're quite tame until you rev them to 13+k

As said above the 600rr is not a fireblade, the 1000rr is.

I have a CBR600F (the not so sporty model) as my first bike and it is bloody quick.... I took the direct access course that allows you to learn and take your test on a bigger bike (ER5 I think it was) and the day I passed my test I went out on my CBR600F - it is a world of dfference! Too angry on the trottle in 1st and 2nd and the front wheel starts lifting - but take that into account and ride carefully and I think it is a perfect first bike.

As I said the RR is a bit more agressive and sporty but I think doable as a first bike with care.

The RR was a available in more years than that.

And as above, it is NOT a fireblade...

Here's a pic of my RR6, when I came to sell it;

And here's a pic of it as it was when I had it on the road (It was ALL carbon!);

Same bike as my brother, and he started riding his after passing his direct access test. He said the performance difference coming from the training schools Bandits was terrifying at first
