don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

It was never going to end any other way... What team did Todt work for. Oh yes, I remember a certain red team that Mad Max has a soft spot for....

Current rumour: Mercedes peed off with McLaren building a road car so diverting funds away from them and on to Brawn. McLaren in talks with VW and may
appear next year as Porsche, Seat (!!!!) or Auto Union.

It would be Audi I would have thought if anything from VAG- they have the better racing name/heritage. Mclaren have/had a lot of other German sponsors
too.
How do you think Merc' felt about Ron selling 15% of the company to a Dubai investment group rather than them too!!!
I hope they stick with a Merc engine though... that engine is quite clearly the best on track and moving to something VAG can only be a backwards step
surely!

Considering how competetive Audi have been in LeMans having them in the F1 paddock might put the cat amongst the pidgeons! - don't fancy a
Diesel F1 car though

Wait and see what happens re Ferrari and F1 ---- Ferrari are now very much in the FOTA camp, if things continue on the present path Luca di
Montezemelo is likely to take a very hard line stance against Todt when the recently signed concorde agreement expires. Word has it FOTA are already
preparing for a breakaway series and this time they aren't posturing.
