RANT

What is it with Paypal, bought a slight second bike last weekend and paid for it with the wrong card, the only way i could cancel it was to get the seller to cancel payment, job done or so i thought. I found out end of last week that the transaction is still taking place, but the money goes to my paypal account. I have been waiting for it to clear so i can transfer it back, i check account today still no money seven working days after it started. So i ring them, they tell me that i will receive the money on the 9th, that's eleven days later the thieving BA****DS.
Kettle topped it last night so straight on to the Internet to find a new one, Argos had one we liked at half price so reserved it for collection as not many left. Drove 20 miles to collect it, but upon collection it is the wrong one. So i have get a refund there and then. The till lady pulls up the one i ordered and tells me there is two left, but she comes back with the wrong one again saying that the product has changed and that's it.
Who do these big companies think we are, do they make mistakes but haven't got the balls to admit it and try to fob us off with other products and try to tell us that if we look at the adverts fully it does say that there might be change of product. A**EH***S the lot of them.
Rant over.

Slightly off topic but on the same shi77y big companies theme.. BT turned up at my brother in laws house and have brought the phone line in behind the gas cooker... and put the master socket behind the cabinet next to it... when he asked what the bloke thought he was doing he said it was normal...

i wouldnt let bt in my new house after seeing the daily cockups they do for my employer.

i have changed to virgin media and their installers are no better. the made a nice black cable run all the way round my nice yellow brick walls then blew out the brick when i specifically asked them to wait for me to drill the wall for them. i will be chopping it all out next summer and doing it properly so it cant be seen. fortunatly they have come to a compensation figure that we are both happy with. i dont think bt would have done that.

They're all as bad as each other, the problem with phone companies is they have a monopoly and your not allowed to do your own phone lines even if your qualified to do so.
