Trailer stolen
Around the 30th october the 1st Waltham scout trailer was stolen from Sproxton, Leicestershire. It had a wheel clamp on but didn't help. I feel
especially miffed as this was donated to the local scout group when I was a 6 year old Beaver (I've even got a pic of us all next to it when it
was delivered) It's taken the gear of hundreds of young children to all corners of the UK for 20 years
It looks pretty tatty in the photos but that was an old pic, it's had a good clean, new tyres etc and scrubs up well and it's in perfectly
good nick. Has a galvanised chassis and a few years ago an angled frame was welded in to give a little extra height which is a unique feature.
I know it's a very long shot posting it here but anythings worth a try...(we've informed local police etc) what generally happens to
stolen trailers? Weighed in for scrap or actually used?

I would think that someone stole it to use it.

My first guess would be gypsies. They LOVE trailers, and go out of their way to nick them!
Is there a pikey camp or setup near to you? If so, I'd have a quiet look, and if its in there, get a lot of people together and go and
"reclaim" it.
Everybody near me knows where all their trailers end up, and the police don't want to know, so a few have successfully reclaimed their property
by going mob handed.
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning
