Turns out it wasn't even his car, allegedly
The bloke driving is the owner of a specialist car restorers who "borrowed" a customer's car.
He blamed a Pelican flying across his path, causing him to drop his mobile and veer off the road.
He obviously didn't see the 2 lads in the other lane filming on a mobile. Their footage shows a distinct lack of Pelicans
