help, buying advice needed
I ordered some speakers from a (until now...) reliable company on the 6th of november, i've still not received them, or even any news of a
shipping date. they weren't in stock when i ordered, and i they were in contact with me to tell me they were waiting a delivery, and they should
have had it by the 10th of nov. i've not heard from them since.
since ordering, the price has gone up by £75 (i bought them at £325 a pair, they're now £399)
they've not taken any money from my account yet, and is still on back order so i get them at the old price when they do come in. price has also
gone up a lot across all suppliers as far as i can see, so i'm kinda locked into them now.
but i'm getting pretty annoyed they're taking so long. is it reasonable to ask for some sort of extra discount for my inconveniance? how
much, and how would i word it?
its these ones

going to email now, just to ask for an update.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Why not give em a call tomorrow? Personally I think you'll be lucky to get a discount for your inconvenience given that the price has just
increased. No harm in trying though.....

when they weren't in stock, they told me they'd have them in 5 days. its well past that now lol.
yeah, i'll give another call tomorrow and see what they're saying. annoying thing is, i could have got them from a differeent place for
the same price with next day delivery, but you try and be loyal to a place you've spent hundreds with (maybe thousands now...) and its not
happening

I ordered an out of stock LP earlier this year online which they said would probably arive in a week, six months later they emailed me to say the LP
was out of production and cancelled m order.
I would say they're not under any obligation to give you the speakers for the old price if the suppliers have put the price up, they would be if
they'd already taken money from you though.
