Large screen TV wanted, where are the deals?

Hi All

I'm after a large (32" to 42" screen TV for my son for Christmas. Has anyone seen any good deals recently? I would appreciate you pointing me to the retailers offering them!

Thanks

Richer Sounds are always a good try. I know Currys have got some sales on, but if you're not fussed about having the most recent model with lights around the edge for aesthetic value, I would recommend Richer over them. They have some amazing offers on items, and even occasionally end-of-line stock, which is ridiculously cheap.

Have a look at their website for latest offers!

I've bought the majority of my Christmas presents through hotukdeals this year, it saved me a fortune (actually it didn't, I just spent the same but on better stuff).

I also bought my 42" plasma for £350 a couple of months ago from a deal posted on there, top stuff

TJ Hughes have some Samsung and Panasonic 50" jobs in for around £500, 42"'s for 400~450ish.

Can't remember which one but one of them was the latest model with freesat, 100hz etc.

Paid £2600 for my 42" Viera 3 years ago... gutted now

Apprently while in comet christmass shopping mum had finally decided that shes wants/willallow a new tv in the house. Ive left home, but my brother and dad appear tobe quite happy about this.

Apprently the woman in the shop recommend this one
http://www.comet.co.uk/p/LCD-TVs/buy-PANASONIC-TX-L32S20BA-LCD-TV/633739?cm_mmc=AW-_-Shopsafe-_-feed-_-633739_PANASONIC&cm_ven=AFFILIATEWINDOW& ;_$ja=tsid:8361|prd:3394&awc=157_1291938001_9264fca769d0515d23a4ce1c53581308&cm_ven=AFFILIATEWINDOW&_$ja=tsid:8361|prd:3394&cm_mmc=AW- _-Shopsafe-_-links-_-generic#fulldetails

which seems to have a fairly good review

Not sure on the combined consense here? Is the any gadgetry or conectivity that anyones going to miss?

A built in freeview tuner has to be a good idea, but generally im against having to much 'onboard'

It will be paired with a (also panansonic) HDD based freeview tuner and DVD player (which only has one tuner, its major down fall) and would be replacing a 21inch CRT which is the only other TV they have ever owned (literally). My £2 second hand ebay speical puts it to shame!

i paid £240 for a 32" full hd telly as per this link:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003EEM1M4/ref=nosim/?tag=hotukdeals-21

but got it via best buy, with cash back.

Can only agree with mr bond, hotukdeals is the place to look - there was a 42" for £350 recently.

follow his link, and click on the audiovisual section, and have a browse through.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
