I turn 30 soon
and the missus asked me if I'm feeling depressed yet. Tbh I'm no more bothered than usual and I joked that can we get a Ferrari for
£50!
Now I'm wondering if I should start a mid-life chrisis and see if she'll let me stretch to getting a kit from someone. Most companies that
do seven kits allow you to pay monthly don't they?

Wouldn't swap my little'un for the world, but I am starting to itch for a car that doesn't comfortably seat four and give a decent
fuel consumption. Can anyone remember the name of that kit manufacturer who did the MX5 based one?

Good job swmbo doesn't look at this!

I'm almost 60 too... Wish I was 30 again, knowing what I know now.
30 is a wonderful age. You still have your Mid Life Crisis to look forward to. I've Had mine. Not much to look forward to now except
retirement.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards

I think root canal is much worse (well if the root isn't dead yet).
Extractions are a doddle unless you get post op infection like I did (yellow fluid dribbling out my nose and wisdom tooth socket).

I've recently turned 60 - so far every decade has been better than the previous so I've high hopes.
20 - 30 - got married - best thing I ever did.
30 - 40 - Got sailing - ended winning the National Champs in a Trapeze Spinnaker class. Got promoted to Town engineer.
40 - 50 - Wife & I built Cobra. Ran local Cobra group - had great fun with great group of Cobristas
50 - 60 - Retired from Council at 52 - Started building Locost then Consulting took over my life - making good money with lots of travelling to
interesting parts of SA and for first time in my life enjoying my "job"
60 - 70 - Currently modifying Cobra for track days - the rest is up to fate - but if life is as good as it always has been am looking forward to it
with interest. Whon knows what the next adventure will be!
ps - Wife happily shares all my adventures with me which greatly adds to their pleasure.
So - enjoy your thirties - make sure you start at least one new big adventure and a Locost is as good as any.
