My mate has had a Christmas tree up for 5 years

Mines down on the first, same time the missus usually sorts the carnage out from Christmas.

Is it all worth it ?

2 days off, christmas eve clear up the house, shopping, getting prepared etc. Xmas day, cooking, entertaining friends and family all day. Boxing day, 0700, back to work, whats it all about ? Xmas now back in its box in the loft !! Oh well , it gives you a nice warm glow inside. I think thats more from the xmas tree in the woodburner. Think I must be getting old !!

Ah so you were the one the DHL guy had a christmas tree for on the 29th december!

Ours came down today at some point while I was in bed.. I'm sure it was all there when I came in this morning at least!

Does this mean the Easter avatars will be going up now (like they're doing in the local tesco)?
