numpty Q regarding high tensile bolts
Guys
In addition to a number 8.8 or 10.9 etc there are letters on the end of the bolts. Can you tell me if letters on the end of the bolt have any
particular meaning?
In particular TL and 3F are on some I'm looking at right now as well as 8.8 which obviously relates to the steel alloy and the tempering
applied, I'm just unclear on the other markings!
Thanks in advance!

The other marking is usually an identifier code for the bolt manufacturer.
