Locost sledge No. 3

After yesterdays fun and with a bigger group going sledging today I went back in the cellar to make another sledge, this time though, I spotted an old rowing machine that hadn't been used in years.

Out came the socket set and an hour or so later the fastest sledge I have ever seen was born.

It did suffer some severe damage when my sister and her fella both went over a jump at warp speed but some thicker cross braces should sort that.

When i was about 10 my Dad made me a sledge using ford Anglia bumpers as runners it went like hell
PS I'm 53 now

Yeah, the plastic Ford Escort ones dont have quite the same effect!!!
