God it's cold!

Bitter NE wind blowing in off the sea and now the sun has gone down the temperature outside has dropped to a bitter +8 degrees C.
God I hate winter.

most of the roads have cleared today, but the paths have just got a nice layer of slush on that will freeze tonight and make for a skating rink tomorrow!

Wind is blowing here now and as said is bitter but snow is receding rapidly and roads are actually clear and dry for the first time.

Its 4 degs outside but the wind makes it feel real cold. Low humidity atm that the wind is helping dry things out.

Bring on the wall! sorry, I meant summer

I got a phone call from the guys at work who have been snowed-in since Saturday morning, wanting to know what the weather was like near me to try and find an alternative, long, way back to Whitby. I drove up to work and the only thing stopping me from getting to work was the 8 foot high snow bank pushed across the road to stop folks from passing the 'Road Closed' sign.......I found a way to get round it and the road was covered but certainly drivable. Perhaps it was worse when they closed the road??!!

It's snowing here now, white over the roads again.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
