Palm Pre or HTC HD2?
My work are tidying up their mobile contracts into a single provider and proposing that we all have the same handset. The choice is a Palm Pre or HTC
HD2 and it's being put to a vote.
Having cobbled along for years on trusty Nokia 6230 I'm way behind on what phones can do these days.
Anyone any experience or comments on the 2 choices? (I'm leaning toward the HTC on general spec, but the Palm is smaller and lighter).

My mate has just replaced his iPhone with the new HTC and he thinks it's the dogs.

Palm Pre looks gay.
So HTC would be my choice out of the two.
On a side note I found the iphone the best 'bouncing' phone I've had when you drop it

I'm typing this on an HTC tytn II and have been converted over to smartphones by it. Its an older model but the stuff it can do and its
versatility with all the homegrown winmob apps is superb. The HD2 is a very tasty bit of kit indeed and when the price comes down off contract it will
be my next upgrade

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Worth noting that HTC make a lot of the phones out there, many of which have other manufacturer's names added.
They've had a lot of practice...
(from an owner of a Google G1, also made by HTC)

I had noticed the Google handset was a badged HTC.
It's looking like a vote for the HTC then

Tried without complete success to set up a Palm with a few mail servers.
Damn awful it was - not a nice phone to use at all and didn't get it working completely as it should. Palm wanted me to pay for support....on a
brand new phone that clearly didn't work as it should.
Thumbs down for PP for me.....

Oh - BTW - I read on one of the gadget websites that Palm are having a rough time competing with the Android phones, and with the iPhone.
Allegedly.
