Who knows anything about Retalix / Triceps / warehousing?

Does anyone know anything about Retalix and their warehousing solutions (i think called Triceps)?

I'm potentially going for an IT job with a company that uses their systems. Was looking for background reading that isn't the lightweight Retalix web site sales fluff. Info on servers / throughput / issues / voice / usability / advantages / integration / gotcha's / versions / upgrades etc would be really nice.

cheers.

Sorry Mike I personally don't know anything about them at all.... it's not my 'thing'...

However of the small amount of reading that I have done for your quest, it does seem as though they have got the market so to speak in the retail game.... A large, global company so probably not in any danger of 'going to the wall' some time soon......

Here is a link from the Retail Technology Review...

I thought the question was about storing drugs

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Actually thats my current job - facilitating drugs transportation to people who want them that i'm being made redundant from. If you want any consultancy i have very reasonable rates

Still trying to figure out when i start the new job but its looking like the 5th March. The major downside of the new job is ..... working with the g/f who's just been promoted to be in charge of the finance for the new project!!!! Yep, i'll have to go to her to get everything signed off and approved
