Non Car topic: Is there a

After my recent topic about moving?

Is there a website that has information on crime for every city?

I mean, i do not want to move to a place where i will not be able to walk down the road, leave my car outside my house and gets nicked or vandalized.

There is this one...

http://maps.police.uk/

Click over the chosen county on the map, and you will be able to look at the various crime stats for that police area.

I have the option on either moving close to work on a higher rent or move further away to a cheaper rent and commute.

I just want a website that i can compare both cities.

Unfortunately all the websites refer to the county and both cities are under the same area so i cannot compare them.

Birmingham has the lowest crime rate per 100,000 population of Britain's 10 largest cities. London has the highest.

Unless crime rates or other things differ massively I would always say live closer if you can, will almost certainly cost you less in the long run. (No pun intended!)

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

We used to live in downtown Vancouver BC. EVERYONE had stuff stolen at some point during our 10 years there, and insurance was high. But when we looked around at the 'burbs at houses that were "affordable", we lost interest and moved here (Quebec). It was perfect living close to everything: our friends, family, the beach, coffee shops, music stores etc were all within 2 blocks.

You save a lot of stress when you are close to work, and that counts for a lot.

L0rd, i dont think moving close to RK's work will be a good move. can get a bit cold and snowy allegedly. No good for roofless sports cars.
