OT How to sell a modded PC...
Hi guys just after a bit of advice of the fountain if I can!
After buying a mac, my gaming pc has been sat in the spare room for a few months untouched. I spent well over 1k building it two years ago and I think
I will try and sell it soon. I know I am going to get nowhere near that amount of money for it but its pointless it sitting here when It could be
paying for some goodies for the car!
I am unsure whether to sell it whole or to break it and flog it in bits.
Here is the spec..
Mountain mods case (18x18x18" all 5052 ally
Intel q6600 quad core running at 3.6GHZ
2x nvidia 8800GTX gfx cards
Nvidia 680 SLI mainboard
Creative XFI soundcard
PC power+cooling 750w SLI PSU
2GB corsair 800MHZ RAM
2x WD 150GB HDD's in RAID 0 SATA
1x WD 500GB HDD SATA
DVD writer etc CD drive SATA
Zalmann Fan contoller
Windows 7 32+64 bit original retail copies in box
Watercooling
Loop1 EK CPU, chipset blocks and resevoir with Laing DDC ultra pump and thermochill 120.3 rad + drain.
Loop2 2x EK GFX card blocks and resevoir with Laing DDC ultra pump and 240mm black ice rad + drain.
Theres quite alot of stuff in it so can advise me how I should go about selling it!

Tegwin thats the thing, I have no idea how much its worth. I like £500 for it but don't know if I will get that or whether I will be better off
breaking it!

I'd expect you to get more breaking it as there'll always be bits somebody doesn't want making the whole system unattractive.
I'd consider selling the mobo, cpu and ram as a bundle though.

My point was it made close to £500 with monitor, so I would have thought you *should* be good for £400+...

Ive added some more stuff to it now - samsung 22" TFT, Razer lachesis mouse, razer aluminum mousemat and merc steath gaming keyboard. Its
advertised to £600 for everything now. If I still have it in a couple of weeks I will probably put it on ebay like everything else lol
