ncc - music management software

Morning music fans,

Could anyone recommend an intuitive music management package?

I use itunes for playback (n00b) but I need something that can effectively retag, automatically create a folder tree and rapidly deal with duplicate tracks on approximately 15K tracks.

I always used to use Music Match Jukebox. Worked a treat for me and pretty sure it does all the above. Pity they stopped developing it when Yahoo! took them over.

Try the pro version of Media Monkey

It enables you to work from many views including file tree and also will search and for duplicate tracks and entrys and organise accordingly.

I had to give up with most other software as once you go over 10,000 tracks they either become too slow or unstable.

The free version is worth a try but it does have restrictions on managing the database.
