lol YES. i like how they reported they died, and it was DIRECTLY LINKED to taking mephadrone, then quickly mentioned they'd been taking
methadone and drinking heavily also that day.
they were breathing and walking that day. why is it not reported that breathing and walking is a direct link to their death lol

I was lucky enough to go on holiday with a top BBC journalist/reporter, (he was a relative of a friend who i was holidaying with)
We talked endlessly for the 2 weeks about how far facts were twisted in the media. The best example he told me about was when the father of a beaten
up drug support worker was interviewed.
Essentially the guy had said that he wasn't surprised his son got a hiding as they lived in a black gang area with a lot of drug related crime
and he was openly opposed to the dealers.
The headline however was something along the lines of:-
"Nazi haters beat my son to within an inch of life, and he deserved it"
No mention of Nazis or white supremacists by anyone, the guy just happened to be white. In fact the group he was working for was primarily made up of
African Americas and Hispanics.

Unfortunatly people do believe this sort of thing. Pretty well all Health and Safety regulations are fair and sensible. It is their interpretation
that is at fault. We have problems on some sites with hearsay rather than the facts. It makes me so angry I could thow the phone down.

I'm just relieved that the 'Liberal Democrat Voice' is so well informed about the facts of this case that they are able to reassure
us all as to what really happened.
Out of interest by what process did it get changed from a non event happening in a piddly little school which only a handful of local people would
know about and probably care little to an 'Is this the end of civilisation as we know it' story in several of the nationals. Incredible
journey!

More than this, idiots revel in it. I'm afraid that it has as much to do with our, meaning society's, thirst for utter cobblers.
Journalists are in many ways just fulfilling the supply-side of the classic Smithian economic model.

Damn straight.
And then I'll sue them when after eating it every day I become obese and have heart disease. Cause I can't take responsibility for my own
actions, that'd just be silly!
If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.

I only read the sport section of the Daily Record and am amazed that they can contridict themselves so times in the same story. I dont understand how
David Beckhams metawhatsit and Wayne Rooneys whatever make headline news i never seen the press outside my place when i damaged bones or muscles.
