Odd Ebay question hope someone can help
Guys,
I sold some parts on ebay. After about 5 days without any communication I write to the buyer who says "yes sorry been out of town and I'll
sort out your payment right away"
So far good.
I then get a payment notice seemingly from paypal saying I've been paid on 21 day hold basis and I should ship the goods.
However, the notice was quite different to previous ones so I sent it to Paypal and ebay who reply telling "yes it's a spoof"
Now here's the twist...it appears that funds are actually in my paypal account so naturally I'm really puzzled.
I've told paypal all of this and await their response......just wanted to see if any of you guys had seen anything like this before?
Cheers, Alan

I'm also having a random fraud check. And paypal are holding one of my order's money untill i ship the goods and the guy says hes received
them. As i said, im pretty sure its a random fraud check and nothing i can do about it.
Maybe some relevance?
It comes up in my paypal balance but that amount is not available

yes...its happend 3 times in the last month to me....
i contacted the sellers and refunded there payments and got them to pay again....
there was no way i was going to ship goods without a payment and then wait till they left good feeedback before the funds where released...
paypal themselves are fraudsters....
