London Marathon 2011
Hi all, anyone trying to enter LM 2011?
ballot opens midnight hopefully, although the site was down last year quite soon after it opens so they have been quite vague about specifics.
good luck to anyone else entering.

To be honest I'm so pi$$ed off about not getting in this year, but yet being offered a place for money on an almost hourly basis ever since,
I'm not sure I'll bother.
Actually, I may as well have a go

Not me, can't run
Am signed up to do the London to Brighton Bike Rides (on and off road). When I first tried to register for the onroad ride (at 5pm) on the day
registration opened, site said all places taken, so I went on a waiting list and got confirmed

Having read up on how much the London marathon charge charaties for places it seems like a big scam.... I'm running the nottingham robin hood
marathon instead.

I ran a half marathon last year which I quite enjoyed so have been thinking it'd be nice to do the London Marathon.
Having said that, I spoke to someone who did the 2009 London. He told me that the entire run right to the very end was absolutely rammed with people
in your way. This has kind of put me off as I'd like to get a good time (I did the half in 90mins or so) and a bunch of people in my way would
annoy me!
So might just do another (cheaper!) one instead!
Cheers,
James
