Saw him with Rainbow in Stafford, think it was 1977.

I used to roadie for a band who toured with Dio, he was a true gentleman, not what you'd expect from someone in the "industry".

He'll be missed

Also I only found out today that Pete Steele, the lead singer with Type O Negative died last month too !

You can tell when you're getting old when your peers start to pop off...
