I know what you mean, there was a Corsa down here today. I wish i had my phone on me to take a picture.

It had 4 of those little flags on the windows, a big sticker on the bonnet and stickers on the doors. Then written in chalk marker on the back window was: "COME ON INGERLAND!!"

Dont you just love care in the community!!
Do you think he should have bought a flag with England written on it?

Two questions spring to mind.

Do they have to have "ENGLAND" writen across the flg to know whos flag it is?

Is buying this tat realy supporting England... or just China?

Now just imagine how annoying it gets if your surname actually is England....

FFS, if that's normal then I'm glad I'm considered 'a bit odd' by some people

I think I annoyed a footballist at work recently because they were trying to engage me in a world cup related conversation and all of the different teams that are taking part, and I asked 'So are Chelsea playing in the world cup this year then?'. They went away in a bit of a huff.

I almost hope we get knocked out in the first round (or however it works).

All it does for me is cost my business money.
I know it's going to be pointless opening when England are playing, but I will still be open.
Because evryone will be in the pub watching the match.

I came in from the garage a few weeks up to my elbows in oil, grease and other general dirty marks as I am rebuilding my V8. On entering the living I find my girlfriends Uncle and Grandad had popped round to watch some football on my big telly. I heard something about a cup final and I realised it was 'the FA cup final'. On enquiring who was playing I received some shocked and awed looks that I didn't know this information. The uncle then joked that I perhaps wasn't a real man as I didn't like football. So I went back to my V8.......

My usual reply to the "not a real man" line, is "maybe i'm not a closest homosexual who is over compensating."

That usually shuts them up...
