SKy +
If you want to put another sky box in another room do you need a card in the second box?
Not usin sky multi room.
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

But you can buy one from Sky. They're £25 and give you all the freeview channels.
It's called "Freesat from Sky" opposed to the similar Freesat - a different service.

Not the cheapest route but it's what I've done in the bedroom and if you already have the equipment and or can install the coaxial feed
yourself...

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

If you put one of these cards in, Sky+ functionality won't work on that box...
i.e. SkyPlus box + freesat card = no record functionality

You don't actually need a card. Without a card you'll still get all the free channels. The only thing the "freesat from sky"
card gives is localised regional TV (itv/bbc is london by default) and channel 5, though I think that can be added as "extra channels"
anyway in the menu.
