It's a small world!
I recently found out that Jossey on this site who I had recently been talking to on u2u is seeing a girl who was in the same class as me at school.
I also recently found out that Bob Tatt off here is friends with my uncle.
What gets me is surely I must be bizarrelly connected to other people on here but just don't know about it yet?
I wondered if there were any other similarly weird stories on here?

It always strikes me as odd that you can "talk" to some people, via a forum, on a daily basis but wouldn't know them if you passed
them in the street.

I genuinely have. If you click the "print screen" button and paste it into Paint you can cut out her picture and magnify it.
Missus wasn't too impressed with my spooning a sheet of A4 though.

Ok I was trying to stay out of this, but, ..........
According to my family tree that I have been working on it turns out that most of you are 4th cousins 7 times removed, except for 75% of the females
who for some inexplicable reason are 7th cousins 4 times removed. The rest are just, you know, a bit distant.
The biggest problem I have with prooving all this is that the birth certificates and cencus returns all become a little confused around the time of
THE Great Flood. It looks like they either got water damages or someone used them to wipe their bottoms. But hey, the lord said about packing all
those animals, he didn't say anything about toilet paper.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

I found out I work for the same group as Bumble (Matt) only by noticing a company logo in one of Matt's pics when I researching exhausts on
here. Turns out we've met each other before on a company go-karting day

My brother plays a game he calls Facebook Bingo, You type in a random name and click one of there friends, do this till you have mutual friends pop
up.
He started with a man in Botswana, and got to someone he knew in 3 clicks, and one time managed to type in the name of someone he didn't know
but was a friend of his best mate.

6 degrees of separation... The theory is with just 5 links between people (so 6 people inc' you) you can get to anybody in the world. So a
friend of mines mum was sectratary to Tony Blair, who knows... So thats me to virtually any world leader in just 4 people... and as you know me you
can do it in 5 links.
